Wieliczka Salt Mine

Starting 8 June, the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine will resume tourist operations. We assure you that we have used the period of the mine’s closure to prepare the facility to welcome our visitors, and that all of our actions were guided primarily by concern for the safety of our guests. Be sure to visit the salt underworld!

From 8 June 2020 it is possible to visit the Tourist Route. Individual tourists will be able to tour the Tourist Route in two languages – Polish and English, at strictly defined times. Detailed information on the tour schedule can be found HERE.

Organised group tours require prior reservation. You can find the reservation request form HERE. Tours will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

At the same time, please be aware that we have introduced certain restrictions to increase your safety. Before entering the premises of the Mine, every visitor will have their body temperature measured. Every visitor must wear a face mask. Disinfectant containers were also set up in designated places. The number of people in groups visiting the Tourist Route has been reduced to 20 people. Detailed information on the actions taken are available HERE.

Due to the exceptional nature of the other offers, i.e. the Miners’ Route and Graduation Tower, these attractions remain closed. We will keep you informed about further plans to reopen them. We invite you to follow our Facebook page and information on the www.kopalnia.pl website.

The information about the closure of the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine can be found HERE.
