Conveniences for families:

  • Children under 4 years of age visit for free.

  • Smaller children can be carried in a carrier or sling. 

  • Possibility to buy snacks and drinks during the sightseeing tour.

  • An underground restaurant with high chairs.

  • A changing table on the surface and near the underground restaurant.

  • Toilets on the surface as well as during the sightseeing tour.

Miners’ Route

Miners’ Route

Mining apprentices, get ready! You’ve got a lot of challenges ahead of you. You will be carpenters and even methane testers! The Miners’ Route is an interactive tour, during which the participants can look forward to mining work and tasks. 

For the duration of the expedition, you will receive protective clothing and mining equipment: a lamp that you will light your way with, a carbon monoxide absorber and, of course, a helmet.

Useful information

Conveniences for families:

  • The route is suitable for children over 10 years of age, due to the fact that the tour is an active expedition and is physically demanding.

  • Each participant of the expedition receives an individual locker, which can be locked with a key to hide a small backpack and personal belongings.

  • Toilets available on the surface, before and after sightseeing.

  • The Miners’ Route is not adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
