19-06-2017 / Occasional Events

Sport emotions, competition and rivalry, the most outstanding names in the world of cycling – this is what awaits us on August 3rd near the Daniłowicz Shaft. This is where the athletes competing in the Tour de Pologne will set off from to Zakopane in order to overcome the challenges posed by the mountain stage of the race.

This year, the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine hosts the start of the 6th stage of Tour de Pologne. The collaboration of the Mine and the organisers of TdP has been going on for exactly two decades. Over the course of the 20 years, the salt undergrounds saw 11 finale galas, presentations of the race course, as well as the gifting of unique salt sculptures to the best cyclists in the race. This tradition will not change – the talented miners from Wieliczka are already preparing unique salt masterpieces.

On August 3rd, come to the Daniłowicz Shaft to support the cyclists on the starting line of the 6th stage of the race. Let us support the participants of the 74th Tour de Pologne together!
