We could not wait for 2020 to be over, but now it is time for summaries and conclusions. Journalists, bloggers and TV crews from all the corners of the world visited us to see what kind of safety measures were implemented and how the mine operated during the pandemic.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is a legendary destination, which has been attracting visitors from all over the world for generations. And it is no wonder why – this underground treasure lures and entices everybody with its unique atmosphere...
For visitors
We would like to inform you that starting on 2 November the Tourist Route will be open for visitors from Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

On Saturday, 26 September 2020, an official closing ceremony of an exhibition presented in the Stanisław Staszic Chamber 125 metres underground took place.
